Bachelor no more!
Arie Luyendyk Jr. is officially a married man, after tying the knot with Lauren Burnham at Haiku Mill in Maui, Hawaii, on Saturday, US Weekly confirms. Bachelor host Chris Harrison officiated the pair’s wedding, which he exclusively told ET last month would be attended by several other members of The Bachelor family. Seinne Fleming, Marikh Mathias, Jenna Cooper and Maquel Cooper were by the couple’s side, with Cooper serving as one of Burnham’s bridesmaids.
Burnham walked down the aisle in a stunning gown by Hayley Paige, and the blonde beauty couldn’t help but gush about her “fairy tale” dress while speaking with ET at her fitting in October. “[It’s] elegant and understated at the same time,” she said. “I would say it’s a little bit of a princess vibe, yeah.”
ET was also with Luyendyk as he shopped for his tux at the Kenneth Cole flagship store in New York City. “I’ve always been really into a very clean, simple [aesthetic],” he told ET. “I would love to have a tux that has some grey, but also some black, not just a traditional tux, but something with a little bit extra.”
On his wedding day, Luyendyk took to Instagram Story to share a sweet pic of his lady love writing “Happy Wedding Day” in the sand.
Luyendyk and Burnham arrived in Hawaii a few days before their wedding, sharing several photos to social media from their adventures before saying “I do.” “Life with you is all sunsets and rainbows ❤️ We’re getting married tomorrow!” the former Bachelor wrote alongside a sweet slideshow of himself and Burnham.
The couple has been together exclusively for about a year, and got engaged on The Bachelor: After the Final Rose in March, just one day after fans watched Luyendyk’s brutal, unedited breakup with Becca Kufrin. They revealed their wedding date in May, the same week Kufrin’s season of The Bachelorette kicked off.
“I don’t know if they’d invite me [to their wedding], but I guess, yeah, if they want me there, I’d want to share in their love, because I truly do wish them nothing but happiness,” Kufrin said at the time, when asked if she’d go to the couple’s wedding.
Luyendyk and Burnham continued to keep fans in the loop on all things wedding planning, and in November, announced they were expecting their first child together. It’ll be a baby girl for the newlyweds, as they revealed earlier this month.
During an interview with ET last month, Harrison opened up about Luyendyk’s transformation from controversial Bachelor to family man.
“I was not surprised they’re getting married. The baby announcement caught me off guard, but I’m unbelievably excited for them,” Harrison said. “They built this life in Arizona, they have the new house, they put the pool in, they’re just a cute couple. I love them to death and I’m glad that they have kind of gotten away and gotten back to their life. So I’m very, very happy for them.”

In the sizzling images, the 26-year-old tries on a myriad of different suits, including a bright purple and vivid floral design. Of course, the new TV star keeps things interesting by opting to go shirtless underneath.
Eventually, Underwood and his different suits make their way to the beach where he naturally strips down! So, if you haven’t caught a glimpse of the latest Bachelor’s impressive physique quite yet, now is a good time. These images were actually taken last year, before he appeared on the ABC show.
On Tuesday, ET’s Lauren Zima sat down with Underwood to talk about how he approached finding that special someone, always with his virginity in the back of his mind.
“It’s just a lot of things that go into it. It’s not a simple answer,” he explained about why he hasn’t had sex quite yet. “People ask me the question and they expect this, ‘Boom, this is why,’ and I can’t give them that, because that’s not how it is… That’s just the facts.”
“While a lot of people make light — and including myself — of my virginity, there is a deeper level to that that not a lot of people know, and I haven’t spoken about it publicly at all,” he continued. “I think in that moment with Caelynn, we had a safe space with each other to share things that we haven’t really talked a lot about. And it’ll give people a little more insight not only to who I am, but who she is, and to how our relationship was.”
As dedicated fans know, he revealed that he is a virgin while on Becca Kufrin’s season of the hit show. Since then, it’s been a heated point of conversation among viewers. During Monday’s premiere, the former football player revealed that he’s ready to finally lose his virginity.
Underwood also spoke with ET about next episode’s promo clip which shows him jumping a fence and abandoning the show — at least momentarily.
“I was gone for a while. In that moment, and the feelings I was feeling, I left the show,” he said. “I needed time to myself… In the moment I was gone. There was no Bachelor.”
There’s no denying that Underwood’s abstinence (and absence) are going to be heated topics of conversation as the show’s Bachelorette’s vy for his attention — and his roses.

Just one day after the new cast was announced on Thursday, fans found old, offensive messages tweeted by contestant Tracy Shapoff. She owned up to the tweets — which included racist comments, fat-shaming remarks, using the R-word, and seemingly even slamming The Bachelor — on Friday, alongside an apology.
“I want to start by expressing my sincerest apologizes for the extremely hurtful words that I said many years ago,” Shapoff wrote on Instagram. “I’m so sorry for those who I have offended. I am beyond mortified that I ever had those thoughts and then proceeded to express them. By no means does this reflect the person who I am today. To the people who do not know me, I am a loving, kind, thoughtful, generous, and compassionate woman. I am not mean-hearted or hurtful.”
“The people I have always surrounded myself with are very diverse and come from all over the world,” she continued. “I have a huge heart and a very open mind. In the many years since writing those tweets, I have made a conscious effort not to be judgmental and to be accepting of all people. I have gone into a field of work where I am able to help women and men have positive images of themselves, their bodies, and feel beautiful in who they are. It is the most rewarding feeling being able to work in such a diverse field. It shows me the beauty in all people and I am so lucky to have this opportunity.”
Shapoff concluded by insisting that she doesn’t “defend any of the words I have tweeted.” “I just want to deeply apologize and learn from my mistakes. I wholeheartedly reject all of those sentiments,” she said. “That being said, I take full responsibility for my tweets and will use this as a learning experience. I hope that we can continue to spread love and kindness in the world.”
Social media scandals have been a recurring theme for the Bachelor franchise lately. One of the contestants on Rachel Lindsay‘s season of The Bachelorette in 2017, Lee Garrett, was discovered to have a large history of racist tweets. Host Christ Harrison called him out on the show’s Men Tell All special, and he apologized for his remarks.
Then on Becca Kufrin‘s season of The Bachelorette earlier this year, her final pick, Garrett Yrigoyen, owned up to having liked Instagram posts which mocked transgender people, feminists, immigrants and Parkland shooting survivors. He apologized for his actions in an Instagram statement weeks after the scandal came to light, and clarified his views to ET after the show’s finale.
“I’m just open-minded to everybody,” he said in response to the anti-transgender memes he liked, noting that he grew up in a very welcoming family. “I’m open and accepting to everybody.”
He also opened up about the meme he liked that called David Hogg and other Parkland shooting survivors crisis actors. “I don’t believe David Hogg is a crisis actor. No, I don’t,” he added.

Did Colton Underwood just step out with the winner of his Bachelor season?
The 26-year-old former NFL player took to Instagram on Tuesday to tease fans with a photo of his “babe” at a Denver Nuggets basketball game, weeks after wrapping production onThe Bachelor.
“Date night with my babe. She’s a little pixelated tonight, but I promise you that she has a great personality. Thank you @nuggets for hosting,” he captioned the photo — which elicited laughs from fans, as well as questions about why he chose a pregnant woman emoji to cover up his special someone.
“The PREGNANT emoji. Moving fast I see,” one follower wrote.
“You guys read in to things wayyyy too much… can’t a guy just take his pregnant gal out on a date without speculation on his virginity? 🤷🏼♂️,” Underwood tweeted, as another castoff from Becca Kufrin‘s Bachelorette season — and former contender for Bachelor — Blake Horstmann revealed himself to be Underwood’s date for the night.
“Sorry to disappoint you America, but I’m @coltonunderwood’s plus one,” he wrote on his Instagram Story.
During a September interview with ET, Horstmann revealed that he found out just hours before Underwood was announced as the Bachelor that he didn’t get the gig.
“We got the call the day before and that was it. His name had leaked, if you will, so it wasn’t a blindside. It really wasn’t. I kind of had a feeling that it wasn’t going to be me,” Horstmann shared. “No bags were packed or anything like that, but yeah, it was weird getting the call and I could hear it in their voice right away. I was like, ‘Yeah, OK, it’s not me.'”
“I wasn’t out there campaigning, doing interviews and that kind of thing. That just wasn’t me, that’s not who I am,” he added. “I thought I kind of was going to be the Bachelor, so I was a little bit more reserved if you will.”
Horstmann also offered his predictions for how Underwood’s season will end. “This may not be a popular opinion, but I do think that Colton is ready to settle down. I do, and I think he will find somebody, I really do think that and I’m actually excited to watch the season,” he said.

There’s a new man in Tia Booth’s life!
The 27-year-old Arkansas native tells ET exclusively that she’s dating a man named Cory Cooper, whom she met through a family friend. Booth says the relationship is “brand new,” but that Cooper has actually never watched The Bachelor, which she “loves.”
The brunette beauty has even made it Instagram official, posting a photo of the two at the Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee, earlier this week.
Fans got to see Booth and Underwood’s relationship rekindle and then end on this the latest season of BiP. His connection to Booth had been a theme even through Becca Kufrin’s season of The Bachelorette, when she discovered he and Booth spent a romantic weekend together before he tried to find love on TV.
Underwood then admitted that he went to Paradise to pursue a real relationship with Booth, but that he just wasn’t feeling it.
ET spoke with Booth back in September, where she opened up about how she got over the new Bachelor.
“I cried every freaking day,” she told ET at the Bachelor in Paradise reunion taping. “It just got to where it was like, you know what…it’s a mess.”
“Honestly, during that breakup, I felt like I was consoling him because he was so upset and it bothered me to see him upset. And I was appreciative that he told me when he did. He knew that he wasn’t giving me what I deserved and what I knew I was ready for. And all I could do in that moment was know that he fully tried,” Booth recalled. “I feel like it happened exactly how it needed to so we could realize that we are not for each other and so we can both move on.”

SNL managed to skewer politics and reality TV this week, with a cold open featuring Cecily Strong as the new Bachelorette and Kate McKinnon playing Special Counsel Robert Mueller, who only had more bad news for the lovelorn reality star.
In a pitch-perfect recreation of the now-infamous break-up footage from the most recent season of The Bachelor, between Kufrin and Arie Luyendyk Jr., the 27-year-old brunette beauty was instead joined by Mueller, who had some pretty traumatizing news – he doesn’t have enough evidence to support a case of collusion against President Donald Trump.
“The reality is that I don’t think I can give you everything that you want right now,” McKinnon’s Mueller nervously admitted to Kufrin, mirroring Luyendyk’s comments from the finale. “And I think you’ve sensed that.”
“So what, you don’t have Trump on collusion,” Strong’s Kufrin shot back, hurt and stunned.
“Um, I think I need to explore the possibility that I might have a stronger case with some other stuff,” Mueller sheepishly replied. “I’m just trying to be honest with you and tell you that I can’t commit to collusion right now.”
After a lot of crying in the bathroom and anxious, nervous silence, Kufrin asked the question on many viewers minds: “So that’s it? He’s just gonna be president?”
“I honestly, I just don’t know how to answer that,” Mueller said.
“So I have to wait two more years for him to be out of office,” Kufrin continued, despondent.
“Honestly, probably six,” Mueller replied, eliciting a loud, bleeped swear from the reality star.
But all of her sadness was instantly washed away when Mueller shared the only good news she’s heard in a while: “Look, if it makes you feel any better, [Jared] Kushner’s cooked and also you’re the next Bachelorette.”
“Oh! Well, that’s great! Then I’m fine,” Kufrin exclaims, laughing.

Things didn’t work out for Tia Booth on The Bachelor, but would she ever be the Bachelorette?
ET’s Lauren Zima spoke with the Arkansas native at The Bachelor‘s Women Tell All taping last week, where she revealed if becoming the franchise’s next lead could be in her future after her devastating goodbye with Arie Luyendyk Jr.
“I think it would be an amazing experience getting to be the Bachelorette and to get to meet some amazing men,” Tia shared. “I know it would be tough, but I would kinda be in control and in charge.”
“I think it would be another learning and growing experience, and I’m all for that,” she continued. “Thirty years from now, I don’t want to say, ‘Well, I turned that down because I was scared or nervous.'”
Tia quickly won fans over with the same Arkansas charm and honesty that they loved so much in her friend Raven Gates on Nick Viall’s season of The Bachelor. Viewers saw Raven make an appearance in Tia’s intro for Arie’s season of The Bachelor, where she gave her pal some worthwhile advice.
“It’s different than what I expected because it was so real so quickly,” Tia explained. “She gave me some great advice about just being open and honest and being yourself and speaking your truth.”
“She told me, ‘You’re an amazing human, you’re funny. You have all these things, but you really need to stand up for yourself if necessary,’ and I feel like that’s what I did,” she added, noting that while Raven didn’t end up with Nick, she did find love with Adam Gottschalk on Bachelor in Paradise.
“I would love to be in Paradise,” Tia said. “I would love to continue on this Bachelor journey.”
“Obviously [Raven] had such a great experience with the show that it made me wanna go on the show, and I can honestly say that it’s one of the best experiences of my life,” she shared. “I have no regrets.”
The Bachelor airs Mondays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC, and the show’s Women Tell All special airs on Sunday, Feb. 25.
Congrats to Whitney Bischoff!
The Bachelor alum married Ricky Angel in a Cape Cod, Massachusetts, ceremony on Saturday, according to multiple reports.
Bischoff, who designed her own wedding gown with Audrey Grant Bridal, offered fans a sneak peek at the dress earlier this year.
In May, ET caught up with the almost-Bachelorette, where she gushed about her then-fiancé.
Nilsson told ET that it might sound “crazy,” but she actually knew Byrne was “the one” before they locked eyes for the first time.
“I prayed about it and I just knew, before we even met face to face!” she exclaimed. “I’ve told all my girlfriends all this time but not him until now — to keep the pressure off! — but, whoo!”
