NEW DELHI: YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 6.20 crore), Reliance Power(numbers of share traded: 5.92 crore), UCO Bank(numbers of share traded: 5.86 crore), Infosys(numbers of share traded: 5.32 crore), Suzlon Energy(numbers of share traded: 4.59 crore), PNB(numbers of share traded: 4.53 crore), South Indian Bnk(numbers of share traded: 3.83 crore), Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 3.55 crore), JP Power(numbers of share traded: 3.41 crore) and SBI(numbers of share traded: 3.25 crore) emerged top gainers in Monday’s market in terms of trading volume.
The NSE Nifty index closed 121.15 points down at 17706.85, while BSE Sensex ended down 520.25 points at 59910.75.
On the other hand, Infosys Ltd.(down 9.42 per cent), Tech Mahindra Ltd.(down 5.24 per cent), HCL Technologies Ltd.(down 2.77 per cent), NTPC Ltd.(down 1.99 per cent) and Larsen & Toubro Ltd.(down 1.98 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
